If we would address drugs that cause CoQ10 to become deficient in your system, there would be a wide array of drugs that would come to mind. What is CoQ10? It is a very important nutrient to the energy production within every cell of your body.
If you are tired a lot, then listen up!
The most common medications are in the following family of drugs: most cholesterol lowering drugs, called statins; blood pressure drugs, antidiabetic drugs and some antidepressants. These also induce depletion of some other nutrients such as: beta-carotene, folate, calcium, magnesium, zinc, phosphate and vitamins A, B12, D, E and K.
I wonder how many of you were given these nutrients when you filled your prescription to fend off nutritional deficiencies that are induced by these medications. I would think this would be a good common sense approach to helping you while making sure the medications don’t induce other problems down the line. Why do you think you have a tendency to end up on another medication within 5 years of your first medication? Maybe this has something to do with it!
