What you eat and how much you eat can make a big difference in your health. Knowing that your body only needs protein, carbohydrates, fats, minerals, vitamins, water and air; gives you a head start on everyone else. Disease is most often an end result when one or more of these necessary nutrients are missing for a long enough time to break down one of your systems. The body is dynamic and has a great capacity to heal if these elements are re-established. Unfortunately, environmental factors such as drugs, stress and even lack of sleep can leach these necessary nutritional elements from your body and put you behind the 8 ball. I am a big believer in returning to basic whole foods and working with a practitioner that is well versed in this type of health care.
