Fatal Disease Possible From Artificial Flavoring

General Health | Articles

Unfortunately we find out about potentially harmful products after death or injury and of course a negative verdict in court. A potentially fatal lung disease linked to chemicals used in food additives such as those used in popcorn has been exposed and money has been paid to the families of those who have worked at the plants and died.

Bronchiolitis obliterans first emerged as a threat within the food industry in 2000. Several popcorn plants using these artificial flavorings have had this disease strike their workers. There is some hint that the manufacturer knew of problems with the workers much earlier than the worker’s themselves. More than 150 former plant workers have sued companies supplying or using butter flavorings.

My question is how it may affect the consumers if they are ingesting the same substances that the workers are inhaling, but over a life time?

Who of us are susceptible to auto immune diseases or gut symptoms that may mildly worsen after eating food with these additive, but the symptoms are so mild that we blame the ice cream we ate before the popcorn?

Or; how many other products am I eating that have these artificial flavoring and what long term effect may it have on me?

Tough questions with only one way to deal with the problem and that is don’t eat or drink products with artificial flavorings at all. Eat and drink real products grown in the ground or in a tree in the most natural and real form. If we start suffering from diseases that were caused by items just like these, I can guarantee there will not be any of those companies that produced that product around to help you then. Be aggressive about prevention and protect your body.
